swype swipes a palm PDA innovation: finger as stylus
sure, stylus texting is a little less inconvenient without the stylus, but swype has made no discovery here.
The PDA choices have always been
1) device learn to recognize handwriting — expensive, annoying, and inaccurate
2) person learns PDA shorthand alphabet — inexpensive, easy to learn, as accurate as you are
Swype chooses option two and employs a stylus you are not likely to lose: your finger
not secure enough

setting the port range is a good start, but basic auth is NOT the way to go. certs are better
